I have now had a Kindle for seven months and I absolutely love it. When I first received it as a present as a present from my work colleagues, I was a bit hesitant, because I was rather attached to reading paperbacks.
But my Kindle is now my No.1 accessory, and for me it just makes the art of reading that little bit more therapeutic. I still read physical books and so I try to alternate between the two, but there are definitely some advantages that come with a Kindle.
My favourite one is the ability to highlight passages of a book which I find interesting or sage-like. You can also add notes if you so wish, and it gives you the perfect excuse to highlight sections of a book without feeling an iota of guilt!
So I would like to share some of my favourite highlighted passages with you. Some are very random, but I hope you will agree that they are interesting and insightful :)

Anything You Do Say by Gillian McAllister
How peculiar that two people would perceive the same event so differently.
Anything You Do Say by Gillian McAllister
I definitely felt attracted to some people, and I liked the idea of being with someone, but the actual mechanics of it didn’t much suit my talents.
Turtles All The Way Down by John Green
What I love about science is that as you learn, you don’t really get answers. You just get better questions.
Turtles All The Way Down by John Green
How you spend five years going to the same place (school) every day, and then it’s over, you never go there again. Almost as if it never existed at all.
Friend Request by Laura Marshall
Laura could picture it: the soft, grey-green dusk in the Northern Irish countryside, the smell of rural farmland, bats flitting past, clumps of nettles growing in rank profusion in the unkempt yard.
Bone by Bone by Sanjida Kay (I like this one because it is such a vivid description of an imaginary scene)
Because at school she was known as a Nice Person and once you had a reputation for being nice you couldn’t mess with it.
Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell
‘Stories are the only thing in this world that are real. Everything else is just a dream.’

I certainly feel I can relate to some of these! Are there any passages that come to your mind that you can relate to? Do let me know!
Happy reading :)
