Monthly Wrap-Up – June 2018

Hello everyone,

So we have already reached the end of another month and we are halfway through the year. Where did the time go? But although I read less books than normal in June, it was still a busy and productive time which I can look back on with happiness.

As far as reading goes, June was a month of two halves. I managed to complete four books early in the month, but for the last couple of weeks I have been taking part in my first ever buddy read, with Gem of Glimpsing Gembles.

Doing a buddy read has been a really fun and interesting reading experience, and I have especially liked being able to discuss a book with somebody else as I go along. It have loved sharing thoughts, so it is definitely something I would like to do again.

But without further ado, here are the books I completed in June:

Without A Word
The Tattooist of Auschwitz
The House We Grew Up In
Your Turn To Die

As for my blogging month, I was really pleased to publish not one but two discussion posts:

Engaging with Authors
A Very Happy Epilogue

I also managed to write a poem for the first time in ages! I had lost my confidence with writing poetry after several failed attempts, but I came up with one called The Recital.

I have also enjoyed reading a lot of other blog posts in June and have found myself marvelling at the fact there are so many wonderful bloggers out there.

Here are three of my favourite posts:

I think that is everything. Hope you all have a wonderful July!

Happy reading :)
