Hello everyone,
We are now three quarters of the way through 2018 and it is time for another monthly wrap-up. How did that happen?!
And September was a fairly good month. I may not have managed to finish quite as many books, and I also took a short break from blogging, but with relatively little free time on my hands because of work and writing deadlines, I am happy with what I was able to achieve.
I have devoted my reading month entirely to the Cormoran Strike series by Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling), which are actually the four longest books I have read all year! I decided to reread the first three books in the series, in time for the release of the new one, Lethal White, which I have just finished.
So here are the four books I read in September:

This all means the large pile of books at my bedside waiting to be read has not gotten any smaller. But it has been a nice change to go back to reading a series and experience long-term character development after almost a whole year of reading standalone books.
As for my writing, it isn’t going too badly. I have managed to get a good amount done, though I feel like I am doubting myself a little too much at times. Hopefully I can stop that happening so often in October, where I hope to get towards the end of my WIP.
The writing I am most proud of from September is my poem about having a long TBR list. I posted it early in the month, and I feel so humbled by the positive comments I have received. If you would like to read it, click the link :)
To finish, I must share a couple of wonderful posts from the bookish community, which is full of amazing bloggers:
Let’s Talk About…Rating Criteria – Does It Differ Across Genres, by the amazing Kelly @Another Book In The Wall
Studious Saturday: The impact of Books in a Series, by my friend Darina @Facing The Story
And that is everything! Thank you for reading, and I hope you all have an excellent October!
