Every two months I post a list of five books that I am hoping to read some time in the future. My TBR is pretty long…so let’s take a look through the list and see what I can find!
As it is December, I shall aim to do a list of slightly lighter reads and keep thrillers to a minimum!
The Bear And The Nightingale by Katherine Arden
This is the first in a popular fantasy series, and several of my bookish friends love it, so I have recently added it to my TBR and would like to read it soon.
The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin
I read the synopsis of this one and it looked interesting and thought-provoking, so I added it to my TBR. The cover is nice, too!
The Muse by Jessie Burton
I recently read Jessie Burton’s previous book, The Miniaturist. I loved it, so this naturally was an automatic choice for my TBR :)
The Mountain In My Shoe by Louise Beech
This is on my TBR for the same reason as The Muse. Louise Beech’s first book, How To Be Brave, is one of the most profound and powerful books I have ever read, so I cannot wait to check out this one.
Once Upon A River by Diane Setterfield
I have seen this newly released book almost everywhere in the bookish community in the last few days! It looks amazing, and the concept sounds great, so I very much look forward to reading it!
