Happy New Year everyone!
Can you believe we are in 2019? The last year passed so quickly and it is time to review December!
It was a really busy month – I took part in Blogmas for the first time and overall I managed to upload a total of 21 posts, which I was really happy with.
I also received my highest ever viewing stats for my blog, which was a wonderful bonus and I am overwhelmed by the level of interaction I have had with so many other amazing bloggers.
December began for me with a 24-hour readathon, and I went on to finish the month by reading five books from a broad range of genres. This meant that I finished 2018 by reading 62 books in all, smashing my Goodreads target of 45.
Here are the books I read in December:

Reviews
Her Name Was Rose ⭐⭐⭐.5
Lying About Last Summer ⭐⭐⭐.5
The House At The Edge Of The World ⭐⭐
The Bear And The Nightingale (Goodreads) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Forget Me Not (Goodreads) ⭐⭐⭐
My other Blogmas posts included a discussion about abrupt endings, and a festive poem. I was really enjoyable to take part, and to see the incredible content from my blogging friends. As for Christmas itself, mine was was nice and peaceful, and I received four new books!
Perhaps unsurprisingly, such a busy blogging month meant that I made very slow progress in editing my WIP. I definitely plan to make up for lost time here at the start of 2019…
So my aims for 2019…I am hoping to get better at scheduling my blog posts, as most of them are written not long before uploading. As for reading, I setting myself a Goodreads target of 50, where on the one hand I hoping to great through as many books on my TBR as I can, but would also like to read more classics and engage more with new releases.
