Five Books on my TBR – October 2019

Hello everyone,

I have begun to take a little extra care with my TBR, and so am not adding anything like as many books as I used to. All the same, it is still very long and will take eternity to get through, so with that in mind, here are five more titles that I hope to read in the near future…

An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen

This book just sounds fascinating. I love the concept, and the overall mystery of it. Having worked with clinical researchers, I am also interested in how it is portrayed.

With The Fire On High by Elizabeth Acevedo

I recently read The Poet X and found it a powerful, unique book. Now I cannot wait to read more from Elizabeth Acevedo, and I have high hopes for this!

The Whisper Man by Alex North

This has all the makings of an intense and compelling thriller, the like of which I do enjoy reading. Some of my blogging friends have loved it, too.

The Truth and Lies of Ella Black by Emily Barr

This seems to have a relatively low rating on Goodreads, but after enjoying Emily Barr’s previous YA read, The One Memory of Flora Banks, that is not going to discourage me!

Twisted by Steve Cavanagh

I have this one signed out from the library and I plan to read it soon. Another intense, and by the sound of it, mind-bending thriller!
