Hello everyone,
We are now just a matter of weeks away from Christmas, so what better time for me to be doing a festive tag! This one is actually very appropriate at this moment, for it is EXTREMELY cold outside right now and so the heater is frequently on as I take refuge under warm blankets.
The Baby It’s Cold Outside Tag was created last year by the wonderful Erin @ Reading On A Star, whose blog is definitely worth checking out. She tagged me back then (thank you!) and so I am very excited to finally be answering her prompts. Let’s get straight to it!

Rules:
- Thank the person who tagged you and link to their post.
- Display the banner(copy and paste).

- Answer the questions!
- Tag however many people as you want!
Snow Angels – What’s a book that you love so much you would want to be buried with it

I am not sure that I would like to be buried with it (lol), but I really loved Where The Crawdads Sing and it is definitely the book that I have reacted to the most on an emotional level in the last few years.
Warm Socks – What’s a book that makes you feel warm inside?

I loved everything about this book, but what really made it fill me with warmth was the character building and the familial relationships that it portrays. I was completely rooting for Emoni throughout and the story was very powerful.
Hot Cocoa – What winter-themed novels have you previously read? 🍫

I have read a few winter-themed books, but this is the perfect trilogy for this time of year. The atmosphere is something else as it envelops you into a captivating fantasy landscape full of mythology and containing the frost deity himself, Morozko.
Sledding – What’s a book with the best plot twists? Who’s an author that always keeps you on your toes? 🛷

One of the best plot twists I have ever come across was at the end of Thirteen, it was so unexpected that I needed quite a long time to process it!

In terms of a particular author, several have delivered amazing plot twists, but one who is becoming renowned for them is Karen M. McManus. She makes you not take anything for granted right up until the very last line!
Ugly Sweaters – What’s a book with the ugliest cover? 🧥

I have never read the Twilight saga and I do not really have any plans to do so in the future, but this cover did not escape my notice when the latest instalment was published in 2020. The image of the pomegranate I find rather grotesque, and it just does not look particularly nice to me.
Snow Day – What’s your “comfort” book? 🌨

I read this series over Christmas a few years ago and really enjoyed it. The story is detailed and truly fantastical, and I found it so comforting that I flew through it very quickly!
Movie Marathon – What’s the last book you binge read? 🎬

It feels like a long time since I had just the one book on the go, but when I read Daisy Jones And The Six back in August I just could not put it down. The story itself is brilliant and the characters so vivid, while the format ensures that it reads very quickly.
Letter to Santa – What’s a book that’s on your wishlist this year? 🎅

I am so hyped for this one, the final book in what is one of my absolute favourite series. I have already given a few hints to friends and family that I would quite like to get it, so hopefully they have got the message. So excited to read it and see how Pippa’s story ends!
