Hello everyone,
I was recently tagged by Andrew for the Book Blogger Memory Challenge – thank you so much! I have had a go at this once before, way back in September 2018, so it is about time I tried answering the questions again, but this time with different answers.
Let’s get straight to it!
The Rules:
You must answer these questions without looking anything up on the internet and without looking at your bookshelves!!
The Questions:
1. Name a book written by an author called Michael.

There are not many authors I can think of who are called Michael, but back in 2020 I read this impactful book by Michael J. Malone, which really sticks in the memory.
2. Name a book with a dragon on the cover.

I have not read this book, but I think just about everybody recognises the cover! It is an absolute tome at over 800 pages, and the image of the dragon draped around the tower is quite spectacular.
3. Name a book written by an author with the surname Smith.

For such a popular surname, it does not seem like there are many authors around who are called Smith. However, I read this debut novel back in 2020; a compelling dystopia containing multiple timelines.
4. Name a book set in Australia.

This one was recommended to me by a friend earlier this year and although it is set in multiple countries, I am sure Australia is one of them!
6. Name a book with the name of a month in the title.

I absolutely adored this book and will definitely reread it one day. January is actually the name of the main character, but it was the first answer that I could think of for this question.
7. Name a book with a knife on the cover.

I finished this book just last week, so the cover is still fresh in the memory! It is a beautiful cover and such a powerful, compelling story.
8. Name a book with the word ‘one’ in the title.

I really enjoyed this whimsical young adult novel when I read it back in 2018.
9. Name a book with a eponymous title.

I realise that a few of the books I have mentioned already in this post are eponymous, but for this question I had to choose Daisy Jones And The Six because it has extraordinary characters who Taylor Jenkins Reid effortlessly brings to life.
10. Name a book turned into a movie.

This is one of the most hyped books of recent years, especially in the psychological thriller genre. And to be fair, I did quite like it. However, it is the subject of one of the worst film adaptations of a book that I have ever seen. It is a dreadful movie.

Happy reading!
