Today I have a spotlight to share with you all, as my friend and fellow book blogger NS Ford has recently released her second psychological thriller novel!
The very first book I read this year was her debut, We Watch You, a twisty and unpredictable thriller which I enjoyed. It is quite a page-turner that contains a lot of interesting characters and different perspectives, but perhaps the most memorable feature is the ending, which goes in a completely unexpected and unusual direction.
NS has done some seriously impressive work to again self-publish and create a book with excellent production values. As for the plot of They Lie Here, I really love the sound of the concept and the mystery. While the synopsis contains a few vibes that remind me of The Confession by Jessie Burton, it feels fairly original and having been given a free electronic copy, I am looking forward to reading it very soon.

Kat Green has made a career out of tracking down reclusive former celebrities. When she moves to the quaint English city of Waelminster, she’s on the trail of enigmatic pop star Roskoe Darke, of the band Scorpio Hearts. He hasn’t been heard of since 1985, but she’s confident she’ll find him.

I have been reading her posts for a long time now and have always admired her creativity and the seemingly limitless number of ideas she has. We have had many discussions about books, which are made entertaining by the fact she is quite rebellious and dislikes some of the most hyped or critically acclaimed novels! And as a writer, it means a lot when she says kind things about my reviews.
A cat lover, NS Ford also devotes time to parenting, playing the piano, and working in English heritage.
