Hello!

My name is Stephen and as you may have gathered from the name of this site, I am an avid reader of books. In case I look and sound familiar, I previously had another blog called Stephen Writes, which no longer exists but all of my old posts live on here.

I read all kinds of fiction. My favourite genres are mystery, crime, historical fiction, and almost anything that contains witchcraft or Gothic vibes. But I also read fantasy, literary fiction, and young adult novels – so you should all hopefully find something to enjoy here!

I try to review every book I read, and I like to go very in-depth with my thoughts and analysis. For my other posts I aim for a lot of originality, with fun bookish lists and discussions.

Away from reading, I work full-time as a university administrator and am editor of a magazine called Soccer 360. I like puzzles, quizzes, listening to music, nice food (especially pasta and cake, though not both together!), and travelling to explore new places both at home in the UK and overseas.
